KX Pilates is a national provider of reformer pilates classes. Their philosophy focuses on making small, incremental improvements that lead to big rewards.
Affordable Fitouts were contracted to fitout a new KX Pilates studio in M-City Monash shopping centre. The brief required a light filled, contemporary studio with a natural feel. The project included the installation of a suspended ceiling, new flooring, change area, partition walls, and custom joinery.
The extensive joinery work included a curved reception counter, curved feature slat wall, shelving, banquet seating, cubbies and bathroom cabinetry. All joinery was machine cut for accuracy and premium timber was used throughout the project. The highlight of the studio is a curved timber wall, created to divide the reception area from the studio. Construction of the timber partition required using intricate joinery techniques to maintain a streamlined curve and high quality finish.
The result was a high quality fitout, perfectly reflecting the aspirational goals of a premium fitness brand.
